About the Role
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a canvassing department and build a high-performing team from the ground up. We are looking for a motivated Canvassing Manager who can recruit, train, and lead canvassers while helping drive growth for a company with a strong reputation in the Wichita community.
You will be responsible for building the team, developing strategy, and setting the standard for performance and professionalism. This role requires both leadership and hands-on canvassing to help establish a successful program and generate qualified appointments for our sales team.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, hire, and train a team of door-to-door canvassers
- Build the structure, scripts, and processes for the canvassing program
- Develop neighborhood targeting and route strategies
- Lead and coach the team to generate qualified sales appointments
- Track daily and weekly performance metrics
- Ensure professionalism, safety, and adherence to company policies
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and canvassing tools
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing on campaign goals
- Personally canvass alongside the team to help drive results as needed
What Success Looks Like
- Successfully build and develop a reliable canvassing team from the ground up
- Create a consistent flow of qualified sales appointments for the sales team
- Establish clear scripts, routes, and daily activity expectations for canvassers
- Maintain strong team retention and engagement through coaching and leadership
- Track and improve key performance metrics such as doors knocked, conversations, and appointments set
- Ensure the team represents the company with professionalism and strong customer interactions
- Continuously improve canvassing strategies to increase efficiency and results
What We're Looking For
- Leadership experience in canvassing, field marketing, or door-to-door sales
- Strong recruiting and coaching ability
- Self-starter who can build systems and hold a team accountable to goals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both in the field and in the office
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule
- Schedule varies based on weather, season, and campaign needs
- Evenings and Saturdays required
- Office hours (when not canvassing): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for planning, training, and reporting
- Workdays begin and end at our office
