- Operate cleaning equipment including buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums to ensure floors are properly maintained
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring quality
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs as needed
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required, adhering to specific safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping, sealing)
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
