Position Summary
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the organizations’ payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process weekly, bi-weekly and special run payrolls.
- Review employee hours to ensure proper adherence to company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Process final payouts for terminated employees.
- Reconcile hours between payroll system and production time-management system.
- Log and track employee receivables ensuring accurate and timely repayments through the payroll system.
- Create and enter payroll journal entries, including payroll and benefit accruals, into accounting software.
- Enter employee expense reimbursements in payroll system and generate corresponding journal entries.
- Submit garnishment and support orders to payroll provider and review payroll to ensure proper and timely deductions, as well as calculate deduction amounts for special pay runs.
- Download reports and maintain accurate records of payroll related transactions.
- Facilitate audits by providing payroll records and documentation requested by auditors.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Proficient with payroll software.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field a plus, or equivalent work experience and or training.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
