What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd or 3rd Shift Process Technician position at ALL SERVICE PLASTIC MOLDING INC?
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Lead Process Technician, this position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing injection molding processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assists Production and Quality Assurance departments in start-ups, operator training, and troubleshooting process problems.
• Maintains and establishes process parameters based on the decoupled molding technique.
• Makes improvement suggestions for new and existing tools for better process capabilities.
• Keeps accurate records of cycle sheets, process change logs, and mold PM books.
• Assists with pulling and setting injection molds.
• Follow Lock Out / Tag Out procedures as required when working on equipment.
• Performs basic Preventative Maintenance procedures on tooling and production machinery, coordinating repairs if necessary.
• Fills in for the Lead Process Technician when needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two years related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
