Position Summary: The Full Charge Bookkeeper AP will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping for All Service Moving. This includes handling accounts payable, generating financial reports, and making QuickBooks entries. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles and be able to manage multiple processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all basic bookkeeping tasks including data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable: process invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports to provide accurate financial information to management.
- Perform QuickBooks entries: posting transactions, maintaining general ledger, and generating financial statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company’s financial health.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update records for financial audits and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Handle any discrepancies or issues related to bookkeeping in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., CPB) is a plus.
