Registered Dietitian (Full-Time) – Fresno, California

The Registered Dietitian is accountable for developing and implementing the nutrition services program, working in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (IDT). In addition to delivering nutrition services such as assessments and counseling to the participants, the Registered Dietitian functions as a liaison between the facility and the food and supplement service providers develops menus, and ensures compliance with all regulations about the kitchen and meal service delivery.

Job Duties
- Conduct nutrition assessments and actively contribute to Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings to develop personalized care plans.
- Provide and document direct care nutrition interventions, such as implementing and monitoring special diets, and offering nutrition counseling to participants and families.
- Oversee menu planning and meal delivery, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Lead the nutrition staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, and supervising.
- Manage the intake and enrollment process to ensure seamless participant onboarding.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential with 4 years of experience leading nutrition services in a similar setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid Certification.
- Reliable transportation.
- Proven leadership, organization, and communication skills, especially with seniors, families, and IDT members.
- At least 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.
