Objective of Position:
Responsible for accounts receivable, cash application and reconciliation, accounting team support, customer service and assisting with other accounting duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
· Accounts Receivable
· Maintains and reconciles Accounts Receivable Ledgers
· Makes collection calls
· Prepares reports and presents to management
· Process credit applications
· Prepares customer statements
· Cash Application and Reconciliation
· Reconciles daily cash and sales activity
· Prepares bank deposits and related entries
· Applies customer payments in accounting system
· Accounting Team Support
· Performs account reconciliations
· Prepares reports as requested
· Provides backup to team members
· Customer Service
· Maintains friendly and helpful attitude to customers and co-workers
· Answers incoming phone calls, screen, or forward calls, providing information or taking messages
Job Qualifications:
· Qualifications- Previous experience with accounting preferred.
· Education- Associates degree in Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
· Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to learn different software.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and strong attention to detail.
· Ability to meet daily, weekly, period/monthly deadlines.
· High level of Customer Service and ability to multi-task.
· Continuous improvement mindset.
· Takes ownership in their work.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Travel:
Minimum local travel is expected.
