Spin Welder
Location: Hamilton, OH
Schedule: Full Time | 7 am - 3:30 pm
We are seeking a skilled Spin Welder to operate spin welding equipment and join thermoplastic components efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate ensures high-quality welds, follows safety standards, and contributes to smooth production operations.
What You'll Do
- Positioning fittings correctly in the holes
- Operating handheld routers at proper RPM and applying controlled pressure to create the weld
- Monitoring the welding process to ensure proper melting without damaging parts
- Holding the fitting in place after spinning to allow solidification
- Inspecting welds visually and mechanically for integrity and leakage
- Recording production data and maintaining router tools
- Following safety and quality procedures specific to friction spin welding with routers
