We’re looking for an experienced AR/AP Specialist to step into a key role supporting our customers, vendors, and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
Accounts Receivable
- Answer customer calls about payments, balances, and account questions
- Make proactive collection calls and follow up on past-due accounts
- Apply payments (credit cards, ACH, and checks received by mail)
- Monitor and resolve declined credit card payments
- Review online credit applications (via Nuv) and recommend credit limits or credit card terms
- Maintain an organized follow-up system for aging accounts
Accounts Payable
- Process and match vendor invoices to receipts (inventory and expense payables)
- Work mainly from electronic/scanned invoices in our ERP
- Research and resolve vendor issues (short shipments, pricing errors, etc.)
- Use automation tools (Connexium, Avalara, etc.) as part of the daily workflow
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AR/AP, or similar office role with financial responsibilities
- Experience with both accounts receivable and accounts payable is strongly preferred
- Background with inventory payables and/or sales tax is helpful
- Comfortable learning and working in multiple software systems
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organization
- Professional, steady communicator who can handle regular contact with customers and vendors
