Bookkeeper – Aline Accounting Partners

Location: Danbury, CT (Fully Onsite)

Pay: $70K-$80K

Aline Accounting Partners is growing, and we’re looking for a highly experienced Bookkeeper to join our team onsite in Danbury, Connecticut. This full-time role is perfect for someone with strong experience managing bookkeeping tasks for a CPA firm.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage monthly accounting for clients, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Handle sales tax returns and payroll as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as greeting clients, scanning documents, calling clients, and walking them through signing returns.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide guidance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm policies.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm environment
• QuickBooks Online software experience
• Proven track record of managing multiple clients and workloads
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping software
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with outsourcing is highly preferred
