AS9100 Quality Compliance Coordinator (FAI/DQR)

Reports To: Director of Quality | Department: 513

Your mission

Safeguard product quality and compliance while enabling flow. Tackle nonconformances quickly, keep records audit-ready, and be the go-to for FAI and DQR activity.

What you’ll tackle

• Capture inspection results with accuracy; escalate nonconformances and support timely resolution.
• Contribute to root cause investigations and implement CAPAs under Quality leadership.
• Administer quality records and adhere to documented procedures and quality system requirements.
• Partner with production, engineering, and supply chain to maintain throughput without compromising standards.
• Assist supplier quality reviews and track vendor conformance.
• Prepare for internal/external audits and help drive closure of findings.
• Review/approve FAIs; own the FAI performance metric and serve as SME.
• Conduct and support DQR activities for customers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Quality.
  
  

Bring these strengths

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/technical coursework preferred.
• 1–3 years in quality, inspection, or manufacturing support roles.
• Comfort with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Fluency reading drawings and specifications.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 or AS9100 is advantageous.
• Impeccable attention to detail and documentation habits.
• Team-oriented communicator eager to learn.
• Basic PC skills; Microsoft Office or QMS software experience preferred.
  
  

Where and how you’ll work

• Environment: Manufacturing floor; industrial equipment, noise, varying temperatures.
• Physical: Stand/walk/sit for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally with assistance; manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.
• Schedule: Full-time Monday–Friday; occasional overtime/weekends for production or audits.
• Travel: Occasional visits to suppliers or other company sites.
• PPE: Provided and required per safety policies.
