A leading international law firm is seeking a CMBS Securitization Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing issuers, lenders, servicers, underwriters, and other market participants in sophisticated commercial mortgage-backed securities and structured finance transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of CMBS, securitization, structured finance, capital markets, or commercial real estate finance experience
• Experience with Agency CMBS transactions and mortgage securitizations preferred
• Experience representing lenders, issuers, underwriters, servicers, trustees, or other transaction participants
• Experience drafting and negotiating securitization documents, pooling and servicing agreements, trust documents, and related transaction agreements
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage transactions independently while working directly with clients and deal teams
• Experience handling complex commercial real estate finance transactions is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
