A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Capital Markets & Securities Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing public companies, issuers, underwriters, financial institutions, and investors in sophisticated securities and capital markets transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of capital markets, securities, corporate, or finance experience
• Experience with public and private securities offerings, debt offerings, equity offerings, and capital markets transactions preferred
• Experience advising public companies on SEC reporting, disclosure obligations, corporate governance, and securities law compliance
• Experience representing issuers, underwriters, sponsors, or financial institutions
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage transactions while working directly with clients and deal teams
• Experience with exchange listings, securities regulations, and corporate governance matters is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
