A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Asbestos Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing clients in sophisticated toxic tort, asbestos, and complex product liability litigation matters.

Ideal Background

• 3–8 years of asbestos litigation, toxic tort, product liability, or complex litigation experience preferred

• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation

• Experience representing manufacturers, distributors, premises owners, insurers, or other corporate clients in complex litigation matters is preferred

• Experience developing case strategy and managing litigation matters independently or as part of a team

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

• Ability to effectively manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Trial, arbitration, or significant deposition experience is a plus

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Active Illinois bar admission required
