A leading private investment platform focused on power, energy, and infrastructure investments is looking to add an Associate to its investment team in New York.
The team invests across a broad range of energy transition and power-related opportunities, including generation, transmission, storage, renewables, and related infrastructure assets. This individual will work closely with senior investors and management teams across the full investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Support execution of private equity and infrastructure investments across the power and energy value chain
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
- Perform industry, market, and operational due diligence
- Assist with structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions
- Prepare investment committee materials and internal memoranda
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and support value creation initiatives
- Work directly with senior leadership, lenders, advisors, and management teams
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience within investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing, or energy-focused investing
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
- Prior exposure to power, utilities, infrastructure, renewables, or broader energy sectors preferred
- Demonstrated interest in energy transition and infrastructure investing
- Ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced investment environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
