What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Credit Associate position at Alexander Chapman?
A leading private credit platform is seeking to add an Associate to its Miami based investment team. The firm manages nearly $10 billion across public and private credit strategies, including BDCs, private funds, co investment vehicles, and CLOs, with a core focus on lending to cash flowing, middle market businesses.
This Associate role is well suited for candidates with 2 to 3 years of post undergraduate experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in leveraged finance, investment banking, credit investing, or related private market roles. Hands on experience with leveraged loan structures, capital structures, credit analysis, and transaction execution is considered critical for success in this position.
The role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management, as well as regular interaction with senior leadership in a lean, high caliber team environment. Candidates must have a clear connection to the Miami area and be able to work onsite.
This is a compelling opportunity to build deep expertise in middle market private credit and leveraged finance within a rapidly growing platform that offers meaningful responsibility and impact from day one.
