Ideal Background
- 7–12 years of experience in credit-focused investing, special situations, opportunistic credit, or restructuring
- Background may include:
- Special situations or opportunistic credit buy-side
- Distressed debt investing
- RX / special situations investment banking
- Capital solutions or structured credit platforms
- Deep comfort with complexity — capital structures, workouts, litigation-influenced situations, or bespoke financings
- Strong sourcing instincts or demonstrated ability to identify non-obvious opportunities
- Highly analytical with exceptional judgment and the ability to articulate investment conviction

What You’ll Do
- Lead deal evaluation, due diligence, and investment structuring across a wide range of complex credit opportunities
- Drive fundamental analysis, capital structure modeling, scenario analysis, and recovery valuation
- Work side-by-side with senior leadership, taking a front-line role in investment committee discussions
- Oversee portfolio performance, risk management, and ongoing monitoring of active positions
- Develop theses in niche, high-barrier-to-entry markets where creativity and independent thinking are critical
- Build, mentor, and elevate junior team members
