This is a front-facing, idea-driven role focused on top-down macro strategy and portfolio positioning, working directly with senior investors on high-impact market views.
The Role
- Develop top-down macro views across growth, inflation, rates, and global markets
- Translate macro perspectives into actionable portfolio positioning and trade ideas
- Contribute to written research, client-facing materials, and thematic reports
- Support real-time analysis around key economic data releases and market events
- Build and maintain macro models and presentation materials
- Collaborate closely with senior team members and adjacent research functions
Profile
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Macro research
- Economics
- Portfolio strategy / asset allocation
- Background from a sell-side research team, buy-side platform, or economic institution
- Strong understanding of global macro frameworks and market drivers
- Ability to connect macro views to portfolio implications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
