Alexander Associates are working with a growing civil engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Land Development Project Manager within the Tampa market.
The position will involve managing a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use development projects across the Tampa Bay region.
Salary: $115,000-$170,000, depending on experience.
Job Specifications:
- Manage land and site development projects from initial concept through construction
- Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables
- Coordinate grading, drainage, paving, utility and stormwater design
- Lead and mentor civil engineers, designers and supporting technical staff
- Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders
- Coordinate with municipalities, review agencies and external consultants
- Manage permitting and local approval processes
- Review engineering plans, calculations, reports and specifications
- Assist with proposals, client development and future project opportunities
- Support the continued growth of the company’s Florida operation
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Florida Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain one
- Previous land or site development engineering experience
- Experience managing civil engineering projects and project teams
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater management
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication and client-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of the Tampa Bay development market would be advantageous
