I am working with a respected civil engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Land Development Project Manager to its Indianapolis team.
The position will involve managing a range of commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use development projects throughout Indiana.
Salary: $115,000-$160,000, depending on experience
Job Specifications:
- Manage land and site development projects from concept through construction
- Oversee project budgets, schedules and technical deliverables
- Coordinate grading, drainage, utility and site design
- Lead engineers, designers and supporting technical staff
- Communicate with clients, municipalities and external consultants
- Manage permitting and agency coordination
- Review engineering plans, calculations and reports
- Support proposals, client development and future project opportunities
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Indiana Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain one
- Previous land or site development experience
- Experience managing civil engineering projects
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater management
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Indianapolis market experience would be beneficial
