What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain SysML models supporting complex system architectures
- Apply MBSE methodologies to system design, functional decomposition, and interface definition
- Support requirements development, traceability, verification, and validation activities
- Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Conduct trade studies and architectural analyses to support engineering decisions
- Integrate requirements management tools and system models to support digital engineering initiatives
- Support DoDAF and digital architecture framework development activities
- Drive adoption of MBSE best practices across engineering teams
- Participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional technical reviews
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, MBSE, Digital Engineering, or related engineering disciplines (or 3 years with a Master's degree)
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field
- 3 years of hands-on experience using MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
- 3 years of experience developing and maintaining SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams
- 3 years of experience performing requirements management using DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, or similar tools
- 3 years of experience supporting system architecture development, functional decomposition, and interface definition
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience applying systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience supporting Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), defense, aerospace, or other complex mission-critical systems
- Experience implementing MBSE methodologies across large-scale engineering programs
- Knowledge of DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks
- Experience conducting trade studies and systems-level analyses
- Strong understanding of digital engineering principles and model integration techniques
- Ability to communicate complex system designs through models and architecture artifacts
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills in cross-functional environments
- Interest in applying AI-driven approaches to systems engineering and process improvement
Additional Information:
- Position is fully onsite in Dedham, MA
- Flexible 9/80 work schedule available (every other Friday off)
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
- Occasional overtime may be required based on program needs
