Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures while delivering high-quality, client-focused service tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate client data in the agency management system and respond promptly to client, producer, and underwriter inquiries.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, claims, audits, billing issues, and coverage concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and explain insurance quotes, proofs of insurance, and finance agreements; recommend coverage options to clients and prospects.
- Negotiate with carriers to secure optimal coverage and premium combinations; gather data for new and renewal accounts.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities, stay current on industry trends and product offerings, and attend agency trainings and meetings.
- Provide team support as needed, comply with legal and organizational policies, and report relevant information to supervisors in accordance with agency standards.
- Must have or obtain Property & Casualty Insurance License within 6 months of hire.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical, math, and reading comprehension skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks effectively.
- Skilled in resolving customer concerns with professionalism and composure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related computer software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year of related experience preferred.
