A Personal Lines Account Manager manages client accounts for personal insurance policies, such as auto and home, providing customer service, processing policy changes, and ensuring clients have the appropriate coverage for their needs. They serve as the main point of contact, assisting with renewals, claims, and policy updates.
This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.

A Personal Lines Account Manager manages client accounts for personal insurance policies, such as auto and home, providing customer service, processing policy changes, and ensuring clients have the appropriate coverage for their needs. They serve as the main point of contact, assisting with renewals, claims, and policy updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert support on personal insurance needs, policy renewals, claims, and updates
- Review and analyze clients’ current policies, recommending tailored coverage solutions to best fit their individual needs
- Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products, enhancing client protection and agency growth
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving client concerns promptly and ensuring a positive experience
- Actively contribute to new business sales efforts, acquiring new personal lines policies and earning commission-based incentives
- Stay current on industry trends and policy changes to provide informed, up-to-date guidance to clients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience and support agency success
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager
- Valid Massachusetts Property & Casualty License
- Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and services
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with agency management software; Applied Epic experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
