POSITION SUMMARY:
* Responsible for the timely and accurate application of customer payments to their respective accounts in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Payments are received by check, ACH and wire.
* Analyze and identify payment exceptions that could not be easily applied. This requires extensive research and working closely with the client, other Accounts Receivable team members and Operations.
* Assist in the management of a centralized Cash Applications email box for questions, corrections or other information being requested either from internal staff or clients.
* Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma.
* Two years of cash applications or accounting experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required
* Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills.
* Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
PREFERENCES:
Bachelor’s degree – recent Graduate would be ideal
