Collision Center Customer Service Representative
Alden GMC Collision Center – Fairhaven, MA
Alden GMC Collision Center is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers throughout the collision repair process, helping guide them from initial scheduling through final vehicle delivery.
We are a busy, well-established collision center with strong insurance partnerships including Mapfre, Plymouth Rock, Amica, USAA, and others—providing a consistent workflow and a stable environment.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our Fairhaven location. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work your scheduled hours consistently are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and prospects via phone, email, and text message
- Schedule vehicle repairs and coordinate daily workflow with the production team
- Provide timely and proactive updates on repair status, timelines, and completion expectations
- Maintain accurate customer and repair file notes within the CCC One Estimating system
- Communicate with insurance companies to confirm claim details, deductibles, approvals, and payment status
- Assist in ensuring all documentation is complete for proper file closing and payment processing
- Support customer vehicle pickup and redelivery, including reviewing final invoices and ensuring satisfaction
- Coordinate rental vehicle logistics, including scheduling, tracking, and returns
- Perform cashiering duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Address customer questions and concerns in a professional, solution-oriented manner
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience required; collision or automotive experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple communication channels effectively
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CCC One or similar systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of insurance claims processes preferred
- Proficient with computers and standard office systems
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent on-site work schedule
- Must be able to work on-site; this is not a remote or hybrid position
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday — No weekends
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
