Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for monitoring computer laboratories
- Provides advice, guidance, and training to laboratory users relative to computer equipment
- Provides technical assistance to computer lab patrons
- Complies with established standards, procedures and controls
- Safeguards property
- Troubleshoots and repairs computer equipment, as needed
- Other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business or related area
Minimum Experience
One (1) year related experience
Licenses/Certifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of various computer software applications
General knowledge of library policies, procedures and techniques
Knowledge of office practices and procedures
Skilled in the operation of various software applications
Skilled in the operation of auxiliary equipment associated with the computer
Ability to troubleshoot hardware
Ability to use MS Office Products, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Effective communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal
Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision
Ability to plan, schedule and organize work
