Albuquerque Publishing Company and the Albuquerque Journal are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Associate Account Executive to help connect local businesses with the power of advertising. In this role, you won’t just sell ads—you’ll help shape marketing strategies, solve problems, and make an impact in your community. What You'll Do
- Identify and secure new advertising clients across print and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and upsell existing accounts.
- Develop tailored advertising proposals that meet client goals.
- Coordinate campaign execution from sale to publication.
- Collaborate with creative and digital teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor and report campaign performance, offering strategic recommendations
- Track sales activity, learning progress, and forecasts in CRM systems
Compensation
We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential. To help you hit the ground running, we offer a $6,000 commission guarantee over your first six months, setting you up for success from day one.

Requirements
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency, including CRM tools and digital platforms
- Valid NM driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, initiative, and an eagerness to learn and grow
