Albion College invites applications for the Instructional Technologist position. This position reports to the Director of Instructional Technology and User Services. The Instructional Technologist provides support for the use of technology to enhance campus-wide teaching, learning, research, and other activity. Technology utilized includes software, hardware, and classroom presentation systems. In addition, the Instructional Technologist works with the Help Desk to assist in providing Tier 1 support for all campus systems and services.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. This position must contribute to a campus climate that emphasizes a commitment to working with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, cultures and backgrounds.

FLSA Classification: Salaried / Non Exempt / Administrative
Employment Status: At-Will
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) required, experience with Moodle preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in training preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with WordPress or other blogging platform preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in both Mac and PC based environments preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Audio/Visual and video experience is required, including classroom and presentation systems and video conferencing solutions.
- Proficiency in media production preferred.
- Expertise in use of the Adobe suite is preferred.
