As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for an Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team. This position will work out of our Anchorage office after an initial training/probationary period at our Palmer facility. The ideal applicant will be detail-oriented, hardworking, and have experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees Accounting operations to include AP, AR, Payroll, GL, and Treasury
• Oversees the system of Accounting internal controls and processes to minimize risk
• Responsible for deposits, petty cash, and updating the general ledger
• Process payroll including taxes, deductions, benefits, multi-state and year-end reporting
• Maintain accounts receivable to include collections and preparing monthly statements
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Prepare budget variance reports
• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate work with other departments
• Serves as a backup to other staff in Shared Services
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business Administration required
• Five years or more of related experience required
• Working knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft products as well as Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, or other accounting software.
• Self-disciplined, High attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
