Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Coordinate daily stockroom activities, train new staff, and assign tasks to ensure timely material distribution to production.
- Inventory Management: Oversee ERP/MRP transactions, conduct cycle counts, perform physical audits, and investigate discrepancies to maintain high accuracy.
- Material Flow: Supervise the receiving, stocking, and staging of parts, ensuring materials are readily available for production schedules.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure materials are labeled, packaged, and stored according to company and OSHA requirements.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain forklift certification.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, purchasing, shipping, and quality departments to resolve shortages and optimize warehouse organization.
