What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal SME Contracting position at Alakaina Family of Companies?
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Principal SME Contracting to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides legal review/contract award support to Natick contracting in support of the APM for Next Generation Information & Awareness
- Reviews Other Transaction Agreements (OTA) is critical
- Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations
- Evaluates requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules
- Assists in arbitration of claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts
- Assists in analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Must have a Bachelors degree
- Masters degree preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least sixteen (16) years of experience
- Expert knowledge of Other Transaction Agreements (OTA)
- Requires a knowledge of pre-award and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process from the description of the requirements through contract delivery
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized).
- Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance.
