The Children's Learning Center | FBC Community Ministries | Montgomery, Alabama
The Children's Learning Center, a ministry of FBC Community Ministries, is seeking a passionate and experienced Director to lead our Christ-centered childcare and early learning ministry. Our center is dedicated to nurturing the whole child—spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically—while partnering with families to provide quality care rooted in biblical values.
The Director will provide spiritual and operational leadership for the center, overseeing daily operations, staff development, curriculum, enrollment, licensing compliance, and family relationships. The ideal candidate will have a heart for children, families, and ministry, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities Include
Leading and mentoring teaching staff
Recruiting, training, and supervising employees
Ensuring compliance with childcare licensing and safety requirements
Overseeing curriculum and classroom development
Managing daily operations, enrollment, and administrative responsibilities
Building relationships with families, church leadership, and the community
Creating a Christ-centered, safe, and nurturing environment for children
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Christian Ministry, or related field preferred
Experience in early childhood education and leadership
Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
Strong communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated Christian faith and agreement with our statement of faith
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Successful completion of required background checks
