Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.
American Leadership Academy-Blythewood Elementary is now accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic school year. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the calendar for Campus Administration as director (or as needed); Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for faculty and administration.
- Draft and distribute internal and external communications, including newsletters, bulletins, and announcements.
- Assists Campus Administration with tasks as assigned such as Front Office Morning Duty, Traffic Duty etc.
- Assist in planning and coordinating school events, meetings, and activities, including setting up venues and managing logistics.
- Collaborate with staff to support special programs and initiatives within the school.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
- As directed by Campus Administration, ensures that all curriculum and textbooks are distributed to classrooms appropriately and that inventory is maintained through the district 5S system.
- Assists with campus testing as directed (ex. Ensures teachers have appropriate materials, rosters etc.).
- Support campus administration in entering data into the Learning Management System (LMS) and tracking professional development activities for staff.
- Acts as front office and health office back-up as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass applicable background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Office Administration or related field
- Familiarity with office equipment and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management
