Responsibilities - Body Shop Repair Technician:
Communicate effectively with co-workers- Focus on production
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders and meet deadlines
- Conduct parts inventory for collision repairs to ensure accuracy
- Weld metals, repair metal, and plastic components
- Remove damaged fenders and panels
- Straighten frames
- Grind, sand, and file repaired surfaces
- Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
- Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
- Keep shop area clean and organized
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications and Requirements - Body Shop Repair Tech:
At least 5 years of Body Shop/Collision Repair experience required- I-CAR and ASE Certifications are a plus!
- Working knowledge of body shop equipment and tools including frame and measuring equipment
- Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable attendance
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
