Duration: 9 months
Rate Range: Up to$100/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B
Must Have:
- Active Directory (multi-domain, multi-forest)
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Azure AD Connect (AADC)
- ADFS
- LDAP
- Domain Controllers
- DNS
- Group Policy (GPO)
- PowerShell or automation scripting
Responsibilities:
- Support a large-scale Active Directory modernization and standardization initiative.
- Execute hands-on AD and Entra ID configuration tasks defined by architects and senior engineers.
- Manage and maintain on-prem domain controllers, replication, DNS, and GPOs.
- Perform AD cleanup, lifecycle management, and operational hygiene activities.
- Assist with cloud-first identity migration efforts toward Entra ID.
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual tickets and user dependency.
- Support operational incidents and user issues related to AD and identity services.
- Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and operations teams.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience supporting large enterprise Active Directory environments.
- Hands-on experience with complex, highly distributed AD infrastructures.
- Practical experience working with Entra ID in hybrid identity environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across AD, DNS, and authentication services.
- Ability to understand architectural discussions and translate them into execution.
- Experience with scripting or automation is strongly preferred.
- Certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
- Degree preferred but not required for contract role.
