Job Summary:
The UI/UX Researcher is responsible for planning and conducting user research to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. This role translates research insights into actionable recommendations that enhance product usability and overall user experience, working closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute end-to-end user research studies
- Select appropriate research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys)
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research data
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to inform product decisions
- Communicate research insights effectively through reports, presentations, and stakeholder discussions
- Advocate for user-centric design principles across the organization
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong understanding of UX research methods and best practices
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Ability to synthesize complex data into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Proficiency in research tools and usability testing platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Industry Experience:
- Experience in digital products, technology, or software development environments
- Prior work in UX research, human-centered design, or related fields
- Exposure to product development lifecycle and agile methodologies preferred
