Job Summary:
In this role, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will provide critical support and enhancement for STAR operations and applications across all districts and the Board of Governors. The analyst will ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction through high-quality customer service, technical expertise, and pro-active system monitoring. The position includes shift work in a dynamic, 24x7 help desk environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve application and infrastructure issues, providing customer guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business and system issues, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop, review, and update training and technical documentation for STAR processes and applications.
- Perform rigorous testing and system health checks for STAR applications.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of STAR business processes and the inter-dependencies of related systems.
- Proficiency in incident management and advanced query writing (Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift).
- Experience with production support including Level 1 and 2.
- Flexibility for shift work including after-hours, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Must have experience in both on-premises and cloud-based applications, particularly with AWS services.
