Akkodis is seeking a Systems Analyst II for a 12-month contract role with a client in Pittsburgh, PA 15212, on-site.
Job Title: Systems Analyst II
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Onsite
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $55-58/hour; (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Must have:
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Information Technology
- Strong proficiency in writing and executing SQL
- Working Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and Data Security concepts
Nice to have:
- 2 years prior experience of supporting Data Warehousing solutions
- Exposure or working knowledge of Oracle ERP modules - Finance, Project Accounting, Procurement, Order-to- Cash, and Procure-to-Pay
- Experience with Oracle R12 (12.2), Oracle 19c databases, PL/SQL, SQL, Linux
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact with customers, vendors, other IT professionals, and management.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle

What is the approximate split of responsibilities between production support, project work, data warehouse development (SQL/ETL), and stakeholder coordination?
DW Development and stakeholder coordination is used throughout
- Prod Support: 70%
- Project work: 30%
What level of stakeholder engagement is expected (e.g., leading intake calls, presenting to leadership, managing offshore teams), and what level of leadership or ownership should the candidate demonstrate?
- Leading intake calls: 40%
- Presenting to leadership: 10%
- Managing offshore teams: 50%
- Leadership proficiency should be at a previously demonstrated level (i.e. has prior experience)
- Ownership should be at the 90% level with some guidance from a more senior member of the team.
Major activities/Key challenges:
- Demonstrate fundamental understanding of business applications, processes, and technology.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization, with leadership, customers, and 3rd party vendors.
- Oversee the deployment of customizations and enhancement requests and provide guidance to the developer teams. Ensure that all system development, change control standards and compliance processes are followed.
- Coordinate and assist in investigating and resolving support issues, technical work across various infrastructure and application support teams.
- Participate in and support system upgrades, deployments, and technology expansions.
- Preserve and improve the cybersecurity posture by keeping the applications and their infrastructure up to date.
- Manage small to large-scale projects working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage and track project schedules, monitor budgets, identify risks, and communicate clearly with partners from across the company.
- Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements in individual or cross-functional areas of responsibilities for continuous optimization of support and testing
- Collaborate with IT Business Architect to define and maintain application roadmaps.
- Maintain ITIL artifacts (CMDB and support KB articles), architecture diagrams, audit, disaster recovery and various support documentations.
- Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in the job requirements and changes in technology.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Information Technology
- Strong proficiency in writing and executing SQL
- Working Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes and Data Security concepts
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Preferred Qualifications:
