Akkodis is seeking a IT System Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Findlay, OH | San Antonio, TX | Denver, CO (onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Experience working in OT environments DCS and SCADA
Rate Range: $53/hour - $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Platform & Infrastructure Management
- Strong understanding of platform management tools for:
- Server administration
- Compute
- Storage
- Networking
- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) and its role in maintaining operational continuity.
Server & Virtualization
- Extensive handson experience managing:
- Physical servers
- Virtual environments using VMware and/or Hyper?V
- Expertise in:
- Compute resource allocation
- Performance tuning
- Capacity planning
- Scalable infrastructure deployment
Windows Server Administration
- Deep expertise in Windows Server OS installation, configuration, and management.
- Strong experience with:
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- PowerShell scripting
- DNS, DHCP, IIS
- File and print services
- Advanced Windows security practices:
- Patch management
- Firewall configuration
- Access control
- Strong automation background, including:
- SCCM
- PowerShell scripting
Operational Technology (OT)
- Experience working in OT environments is highly preferred, including exposure to:
- DCS
- SCADA
