Software Integration Engineer job in Omaha, Nebraska
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade integration and middleware solutions. In this role, you will leverage modern integration platforms and technologies to enable secure, scalable, and high-performing systems across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong experience in middleware, API management, and service-oriented architectures, who thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments.
Pay/Salary Range: $85,000/year to $110,000/year. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Skills Desired:
- 5 years of software engineering experience, including senior-level design responsibilities.
- 3 years of experience developing software applications.
- 3 years of experience working with middleware platforms, such as Anypoint Platform, Axway MFT, and API Management.
- Strong experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and web services technologies, including: XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST
- Strong experience with database programming, including JDBC and relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or Groovy.
- Experience working with Source Control Management systems, including one or more of the following: Git/Bitbucket, IBM RTC, Subversion (SVN), or TFS
- Solid understanding of security, performance monitoring, KPIs, logging, and auditing within enterprise systems.
- Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
