Software Engineer in Test

This Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer with AI/ML job is a 12 Months Contract with a client located in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite every week).

Pay Range: $63/hr - $66/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Position Summary

We are looking for experienced mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership, insights on Mobile Architecture, Excellent understanding on Copilot, Promt Engineering, software development skills and experience in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks.

He or she will be leading and designing/developing automated solutions to enhance productivity by the developers.

Their primary responsibility is to the people they manage, ensuring they are developing through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Other key responsibilities may include developing a technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices.

Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product requirements - enabling developers use Copilot & Prompt Engineering

• End-to-end testing of products to identify bugs and ensure new product functionality is working as expected

• Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, App Developers, product owners and clients in development of solution

• Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement - Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Technology, Sales, Client Education, Finance and Legal

• Identifies risks/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and controls used to resolve.

• Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase

• Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features

• Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams

Primary Skill- Perfecto - Mobile Automation, Performance and Monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires minimum of 10 years of Industry experience.

• Must have a bachelors degree or equivalent degree is required

• UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java Appium.

• Mobile Test Automation with Appium is a MUST

• Selenium Test NG

• Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of your products (Mobile Applications). This includes deep understanding of the Mobile Frameworks, technical aspects of each product and the underlying data used.

• Deep understanding of Copilot & Prompt Engineer is a Must

• 10 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer & 3 years of experience on AI Tools (copilot)

• Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

• Hands on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
