Akkodis is seeking a Senior Application Development Delivery Manager to lead multiple software engineering teams responsible for building and supporting an in‑house insurance management platform. This role is critical to the successful delivery of complex, cloud‑based enterprise solutions and will provide both delivery ownership and technical leadership across the organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader who excels at scaling teams, driving predictable delivery, and partnering closely with business and product stakeholders. This individual will champion strong engineering culture, talent development, and continuous improvement while balancing near‑term execution with long‑term platform health.
Pay/Salary Range: $175,000/year to $200,000/year. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Skills Desired:
- 10 years of progressive experience in software development
- 5 years of experience in engineering leadership with accountability for people, architecture, and delivery
- Strong technical background in cloud‑based enterprise systems, with the ability to evaluate architecture, review designs, and guide technical decision‑making
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across departments without direct authority
- Experience scaling teams, platforms, or systems in growth‑oriented environments
- Strong understanding of software delivery governance, risk management, and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Servant‑leader mindset with the ability to build consensus and drive outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands‑on or working knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Aurelia, Vue), Azure, and AI‑assisted technologies
- Experience within Commercial Property & Casualty insurance
