Akkodis is seeking a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer for a Fulltime position with a client located in Charlotte, NC.
Salary Range: $140,000 to $150,000/ Year(The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
Title: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid- 3 days oniste)
Summary: We are seeking a skilled RHEL Engineer with strong AWS experience to support, maintain, and enhance our enterprise Linux infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems both on-premises and within AWS cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat certification (RHCSA, RHCE)
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Splunk)
