Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for 06 month Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA 23231 (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Manufacturing/Production industry is a must.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Position Overview
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field, PLUS minimum 5 years of experience
- Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC & 8D Root cause analysis
- Familiar with key industry standards such as UL1561, NEMA ST-20, IEEE C57.12.01, IEEE C57.12.91, DOE 2016, UL891, and CSA C22.2, which enhance compliance and product reliability.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
