Quality Assurance Project Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Specialist for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will manage quality assurance projects and qualify ingredients within the supply chain to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Rate Range: $21/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Quality Assurance Project Specialist job responsibilities include:Manage and oversee quality assurance projects related to Nutrition Science, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.Qualify ingredients within the supply chain by assessing documentation and verifying adherence to quality protocols.Conduct audits of suppliers and manufacturing processes, reviewing paperwork and ensuring proper documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RD, procurement, production) to maintain and improve quality standards.Analyze quality data and generate reports on metrics, trends, and project progress for leadership review.Identify and resolve quality issues during the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as needed.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in nutrition science, Food Science, or a related field.3–5 years of proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the nutrition or food industry.Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for ingredient qualification.Experience conducting audits and managing quality assurance projects across supply chain processes.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
