About the job:
Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager (Product Transfer – 3D Printing Medical Components) for a contract role in Warsaw, IN. This position will support a product transfer initiative involving 3D printing of medical components, including facility fit-out, process transfer, and cross-functional coordination.
To be considered, candidates should have experience in project management within a manufacturing or regulated environment, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Pay Range: $48 - $53/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Project Manager responsibilities include:
- Lead product transfer projects, including process transfer from global sites
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, QA, and construction teams
- Support facility fit-out activities for 3D printing operations
- Prepare and present project updates to senior stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
- Ensure alignment with validation and regulatory requirements
- Drive communication across internal teams and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–5 years of project management experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing project timelines, risks, and budgets
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical device or regulated environments
- Exposure to product transfer or NPI projects
- Basic understanding of 3D printing or advanced manufacturing
