Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager – AI/ML & Robotics for a Contract job with a client in Troy, MI. The ideal candidate must have strong experience managing AI/ML and deep‑tech programs, along with hands‑on exposure to automotive or robotics domains (ADAS preferred).
Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager – AI/ML & Robotics job responsibilities include:
Create and manage product roadmaps, including key initiatives, milestones, and timelines across global AI/ML programs.
Oversee execution of projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, proactive risk mitigation, and early escalation of issues.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, data science, product, sales) to define requirements and track delivery progress.
Develop and standardize program management processes to improve efficiency and consistency across AI/ML initiatives.
Define and track KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate success and guide continuous improvement.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership, including impact assessments, risk analysis, and investment decisions.
Align regional initiatives across North America, EU, and China, including resource planning and cross‑regional coordination.
Support preparation and execution of high‑visibility demos and integration across multi‑platform AI/ML systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in project or product management, preferably within AI/ML or robotics environments.
2+ years of experience in deep‑tech or data‑driven roles within automotive, robotics, or aerospace industries.
Strong experience working with ADAS or related technologies preferred.
Knowledge of automotive product development processes (e.g., ASPICE) and KPI‑based software quality tracking.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, product, and business functions.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Fluent in English.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
