Akkodis is seeking a PCB Design Engineer for a Contract-to-hire job with a client in Rochester, NY. Ideally looking for A hands-on PCB Design Engineer with strong ECAD/layout experience who can design high-reliability boards (IPC Class 3) for aerospace/avionics/space applications, and collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
PCB Design Engineer Job Requirements:
Strong PCB layout/design experience using ECAD tools (Xpedition / Allegro / Altium etc.)
Ability to interpret schematics & create fabrication/assembly drawings
Experience with IPC standards (preferably Class 3) & high-reliability designs
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace, avionics, or space systems
Knowledge of Valor NPI, Blueprint, or similar tools
Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & cross-functional collaboration
