What are the responsibilities and job description for the Military Site Test Manager position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is recruiting for a Military Site Test Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Orange, CA area (Edwards Air Force Base). This is an onsite contract position with a pay rate of $70 an hour to $80 an hour, depending on education, experience and location. Responsible for the readiness, setup, and execution of commercial and military Development Engine Tests. In this role, the Advanced Lead Test Engineer acts as the Test Director, coordinating test card execution, setup, facility needs, inspections, and deliverables. US Government Clearance Required.
- Engine and Rig test experience
- Experience with finance and scheduling tools, Open plan, Clarity, Spotfire
- Established project management skills and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering from an ABET university or college
- At least 4 additional years of experience in an Engineering position
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher
- Ability to travel up to 25%
