Akkodis is seeking a Marketing Science Lead for a 3-month contract with a client in New York, New York, 10036
Title: Marketing Science Lead
Location: New York, New York, 10036/Santa Monica, CA
Duration: 3 Months contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $85- $90/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Description
- Primarily working with 3P measurement providers and agencies to manage research and measurement studies
- Creative/Marketing role (40% onsite preference – NY preferred; Santa Monica and SF acceptable)
Key Responsibilities
- Set and influence measurement strategy aligned with business priorities and industry best practices
- Act as primary consultant and strategic partner for senior executives at top advertisers
- Improve performance across brand and direct response outcomes
- Drive industry thought leadership (white papers, conferences, external narratives)
- Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales to influence measurement solutions roadmap
- Oversee meta-analyses, benchmarking, and scalable playbooks
- Ensure operational excellence in first- and third-party measurement adoption
- Support quarterly business reviews with insights, trends, and innovation opportunities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Deep expertise in digital advertising and measurement ecosystem
- Proven thought leadership (publications, conferences, industry contributions)
- Advanced SQL, dashboarding, and data visualization skills
- Strong background in statistics, causal inference, and time series modeling
- Excellent communication and ability to explain complex analytics to executives
- Ability to balance leadership, strategy, and hands-on problem solving
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Economics, Math, Engineering)
- 10 years of analytics and measurement experience in tech, media, consulting, or research
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, Economics, Engineering, or related)
- Leadership experience in top companies (e.g., Meta or similar)
- Strong industry presence (publications, conferences, committees)
- Experience working with top advertisers across Brand and Direct Response measurement
- Strong client relationship and C-level stakeholder management skills
- Ability to combine strategic vision with execution at scale
